Florentia and Amy Munro





Florentia is the ancient name of what today is known as Firenze, Florence. Florentia means blooming. This name was given to the Lily opening its petals, that is the symbol of Florence. The coat of arms of Formigli, our family, is the only coat of arms of noble Florentine families, that carries the lily of Florence.

Renzo Formigli who makes Amy Munro bicycles only has one bicycle and its steel.

When I went to Florence this summer to observe how our carbon and steel frames are made I told Renzo the steel bicycles he makes always take my breath away when I see one. So we got together and designed one for women. Meet Florentia, an Amy Munro bicycle, by Renzo Formigli
